Great opportunities available for analysts in the Intelligence Unit at the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

A key strategy for CQC is to be more intelligence-driven in our approach to regulating the health and care sector, in order to improve the quality of care that providers deliver. We are developing exciting plans to use more advanced analytics and data science approaches to better predict the risk of poor care. We have ambitions to incorporate new data sources into the work we do in order to better understand the quality of care received by people who use the services we regulate.

Our analysts provide comprehensive insight into quality and risk in health and care by providing evidence for CQC’s regulatory decisions and publications through data analysis, interpretation and presentation. We do this by working in close partnership with all parts of CQC and our system partners. Our work continuously evolves to enable us to remain relevant in a changing health and care landscape

We now have a number of great opportunities available for analysts in the Intelligence Unit. We are looking for strong, creative analysts who can create impactful stories from data and believe in the power of data for social good.
