The Role

Shawbrook Bank are currently looking to recruit a UAT Tester to join their Secured Lending business. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven tester to join the team at an exciting time of growth across the organisation. The UAT Tester will be responsible for testing all aspects of the residential property system developments.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include the following:

* User acceptance testing of all changes and developments to the residential property broker hub portal including third party integrations, internal workflow and API.

* Create and execute test scenarios, scripts and plans, ensuring both positive and negative scenarios are covered and are sufficient.

* Regression testing to ensure that existing systems, services and processes will not be disrupted or degraded.

* Use JIRA to review business requirements, creating UAT test scripts and record test results.

* Throughout projects, attend daily scrums with other members of the team, business analysts and project managers.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and knowledge.

* Experience of working in the financial services industry, ideally first or second charge mortgages experience.

* Experience in User Acceptance Testing and demonstrable knowledge of System Development Lifecycles.

* Proficiency in any one project/test management too, ideally JIRA.

* Previous experience of working on a regulatory project would be advantageous but not essential.
