We’re looking for a Credit and Finance Insight Analyst to join our Finance Team to help us continue to make that difference.

As Insight Analyst for our Finance team you will be responsible for producing analytical insight into debt collection performance, financial risk and account portfolio health. Your role will also include building and producing in-depth reporting covering all aspects of our Credit department. Through building effective relationships across all operations, you will report on functions within the Credit and Finance teams, deliver key performance indicators for Fixed Direct Debit and Aged Debt portfolios and suggest improvements to drive better cash collection performance off the back off MI & KPI reports.

You will work to produce consistent MI reporting for senior and executive teams along with delivering timely ad hoc analysis to drive business change and prove benefits for a wide variety of initiatives. The role involves taking analysis one step further to provide insight into how the numbers and statistics affect customers and cash flow. A candidate should be able to infer suggestions and improvements, presenting these in a slide deck to summarise their work.

Working in the Finance team you will play a pivotal role in linking the Credit Department and Finance together. You will drive the success of our customer focussed approach, initiating thought provoking insight to increase and exceed our level of customer service and collections performance.

- Utilise SQL to feed Excel based analytics, insight and forecasts

- MI & KPI Reporting from inception through to delivery

- Building slide decks and dashboards from inception through to delivery

- Presenting technical analysis to a wide range of audiences with both technical and non-technical skills sets

- Develop in depth business and industry knowledge, becoming a subject matter expert on processes and policy from relevant business areas to help inform insight

- Build strong business relationships, managing conflicting priorities and deadlines with stakeholders

- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills especially Excel

- Able to summarise analysis into understandable slide packs and to communicate technical analytics to a wide range of audiences

- Ability to understand and communicate best practice and/or regulatory conduct

- Able to work to tight timescales and manage time effectively

- Proven team player who is able to both take the lead or provide support to peers to reach targets

- An inquisitive approach to problem solving, prepared to challenge the status quo and go beyond the expected

- Have a flexible and autonomous approach to work
