Leeds Beckett University is a modern professional University based in the vibrant city of Leeds, the biggest financial district outside London. Within the university Registry provides a range of innovative and high quality support services for our students and staff. Working in Student Planning & Reporting Services, this role will deliver high quality reporting, analysis and insights from the results of our key student surveys.
We are seeking to appoint an individual who has a passion for data and who is able to work innovatively and independently to expand and enhance our portfolio of reports relating to survey outcomes, as well as analysing and advising on our related metrics-based performance in published League Tables and the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
The successful candidate will have good knowledge and experience of working with qualitative and quantitative survey data to produce operational and strategic reports that offer insight into patterns, trends and themes in student feedback. They will possess excellent data visualisation and report writing skills supported by expertise with a variety of tools such as Excel, Access, SPSS, SAS and Business Objects. They will also have highly developed communication skills and the ability to confidently present and disseminate complex analysis to a wide range of stakeholders, as well as being able to develop wider networks within the sector.
This is a new role in a supportive and enthusiastic team and offers an exciting opportunity to help shape and develop a key business area in the university.
