Node JS Backend Developer (Contractors Only)

The ideal candidate will

- have worked closely with user researchers to rapidly produce prototypes ?

- have deep understanding of accessibility ?

- be comfortable working in an environment that practices automated testing ?

- be happy working in a highly collaborative fashion on a multi-disciplinary team

Essential skills and experience ?

- Can design, build and implement secure APIs for large data-sets-

- Can document the API for both internal and external parties-

- Work with user and role based authentication

- Understanding of web-based authentication methods (such as JWT, 2FA), their weaknesses and best security practices

- Solid understanding of MongoDB, including scaling and security

- Experience in Continuous Integration, unit testing and developing for production/distribution of NodeJS applications
