Yearsley Group are looking to recruit two motivated and talented IT Graduates who wish to develop their skill portfolio and join the UK’s largest Family owned Cold Storage & Distribution Company.

If you have an IT Degree in a relevant area and wish for a chance to showcase your talents, learn new languages and play a part in developing the fusion of older and newer technologies, then I would love to hear from you. We develop our applications using a variety of languages - vb.NET, IBM RPGLE, SQL, HTML to name but a few and we would expect the applicant to be strong in at least one programming language.

We offer customised, in house training on the latest versions of RPGLE running on an IBM i that will allow you to blend newer GUI application skills with legacy databases. The role is split between Application Support and Project Development aimed at moving the company forwards so that we may further consolidate our place as market leaders in investing in technology in this market sector.

To be considered, your CV should reflect the following:

- Strong passion for software application development

- Good knowledge of HTML web design (CSS/HTML/DHTML/Javascript/Ajax etc.)

- Good knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. C++ / C# / Visual Basic etc.)

- Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL architecture

- Be educated to Degree Level in an IT Development related area.

- Be analytical and detailed in nature

- Be a strong team player

- Be willing to commit to long term goals

Core working hours are Monday - Friday 0800 - 1700 (60 min lunch break), however, flexible start/ finish times may be considered for the right candidate.
