Head of Digital Services

Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters, Hertford

Starting Salary: £41,025 pa progressing to £43,821 pa

Full Time Hours, Permanent Contract

We are looking for a high calibre Head of Department to join our forward thinking Digital Services team. Expectations are high, so we need someone to provide strong leadership and strategic direction to the Digital Services team. This encompasses being the lead technical post for the service, ensuring ICT infrastructure, systems and software are robust and ensuring the capabilities for capturing and distributing accurate and relevant data to ensure that management and statutory requirements are met. The role must also facilitate and drive forward development and innovation in both ICT technical terms, data management and reporting terms.

With a leadership or management qualification at degree level and a proven track record in business planning, financial management as well as in ICT and Information Systems. By setting the strategy and direction of a team, you will have a wide range of practical and theoretical understanding of information and communications technology.
