This position is one of three Data Management Officer posts within Cornwall Council's Property team.

The specific responsibility of this post is the technical work related to the management of accurate CAD based plans.

The key responsibility of the post include the maintenance of accurate records in relation to the Council's property interests, as estate spread over c.1,60 separate sites (8,000 land and building assets) with a book value of £1.7 billion and a rent roll of over £5 million per annum, and to provide a pro-active information service to Cornwall Council colleagues, both within Property department and also within other Council services such as Finance, IS and frontline services.

About you

We are seeking an individual who is CAD trained and has an eye for detail and a passion for accuracy. Enthusiasm and a flexible approach are essential qualities as well as strong IT skills.

The successful candidate will:

Provide evidence at the application stage of the required CAD qualification (City & Guilds, 2D level 3).

Be educated to A level standard (at least two A Levels or equivalent).

Have experience of the property industry, with experience of database applications a bonus

Have strong IT skills, potentially with expertise in Excel and Crystal.

Be willing to travel and undertake site inspections to meet the requirements of the post.
