This varied & busy role, reporting to the Head of Technology, is based in the application support team. The main responsibility of the role is to act as lead for our Servelec Telemetry system, providing support for a wide range of applications used within the organisation.. Day to day, this means you’ll be managing the health and availability of the Servelec telemetry application, its configuration and support, ensuring its integration with other business solutions and producing queries and reports based on customer requirements.

To do all of this, you’ll need to be a positive team player who has held a similar role, preferably in the water industry. You’ll need to have experience of Linux or Unix based platforms, communications technology including PSTN, Circuit switched data, mobile data communication, IP based communications and Telemetry protocols DNP3. As well as your technical knowledge, you will need excellent communication and organisation skills to enable you to balance the needs of a variety of customers in a busy environment.
