Working with our Engineering teams in the US & Worldwide, you will work alongside world-class experts who are responsible for driving the direction of technological innovation across the globe. In this role your main function will be to write code for functional or performance modeling for GPUs and the functional or performance model infrastructure. This includes working with architects and designers to understand the units being modeled and interpretation of functional specifications to derive a model.

Key Qualifications

- Significant industry experience

- Understanding of GPU hardware

- Strong C++ coding skills

- Experience with interpreting functional specs and implementing in a model

- Experience with performance modeling

- Experience with scripting languages

- Good communications skills

- Self motivated

Description

Create bit-accurate C/C++ model of the GPU architecture Work with the verification team to identify model and hardware bugs Work with the software team to identify model and software bugs Develop performance model for micro architecture trade-offs Integration of the performance model into the functional model Run analysis on the model Rollup and present results and recommendations Enhance the performance modeling infrastructure

Education

BS/MS/BEng/MEng/PhD in related field

Additional Requirements

Relevant industry experience. Some international travel will be required.
