C# / .NET / SQL Server - Lead Developer

You’ll be taking the lead on all of our development activities. Working closely with our Project Managers, you’ll be involved in working with all kinds of technologies. You’re there to drive projects forward and deliver industry-leading, innovative solutions across our portfolio. At every stage, you’ll be making sure all development follows best practice and industry standards. Plus as one of our technical experts, you’ll be called on to guide and mentor your team.

You’ll need extensive experience as a Developer in a fast-moving, industry-leading environment. Strong leadership skills are essential. You need to inspire a large, diverse team and get the most from their skills. While this is primarily a leadership role, you’ll also need to be able to develop applications when the need arises (predominantly in an IBM Z/OS 390 mainframe environment).

Essential Technical Skills

- Microsoft C# / .NET Framework

- Microsoft SQL Server 2008+ T-SQL & Stored Procedures.

- JavaScript Frameworks

- XML / XMLT

Desirable Technical Skills

- Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)

- HTML 5 / CSS3

- MVVM
