Mechanical Design Engineer (SolidWorks)

£40,000 - £50,000 + Training + Progression + Excellent Benefits Package

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to receive training on state-of-the-art power generation technologies in a rapidly expanding company?

On offer is the opportunity to work on conceptual, blue-sky designs where the majority of your time will be spent developing brand new design projects.

This rapidly expanding company are specialists in the design and manufacture of power generation technologies and are in a very strong position to continue growth with solid financial backing and sales revenue.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer comfortable with producing concept designs with accurate calculations, particularly in Thermodynamics. Candidates with a background in the design of steam and/or fluid systems will be considered favourably (e.g. compressors, pumps, turbines, pistons or gas turbine engines).

The Role:

* Conceptual Mechanical Design

* SolidWorks 3D

* Training on state-of-the-art gensets

The Person

* Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer (Ideally SolidWorks)

* Practical experience with thermodynamics

* Looking to work with advanced power generation technologies
