Technology has undoubtedly become an integral part of our everyday lives. From our smartphones to our cars and healthcare, technology has transformed the way we live, interact and work. It has opened up endless possibilities and has made the world a more connected and convenient place.
Despite an equal split of genders using this technology; there is an uneven split between the genders when it comes to the people who are creating and developing the tech businesses, products and services. Despite progress being made in recent years, the number of women in tech roles still falls far behind that of men. It’s been predicted that based on the progression rate from 2006 to 2023, we will not see global gender equality until 2154.
