We are looking for a Senior Java Web Developer with Front End and Back End experience to join our expanding IS department and deliver software solutions for customer facing systems within RCI Financial Services Ltd.

The successful candidate will focus on the investigation and proposition of innovative technologies and programming applications for the development of the digital platform. Working with the rest of the business the developer will push the adoption of new technologies and work with marketing and other departments to ensure successful integration.

With our own UK savings bank, we work exclusively with Renault, Nissan, Dacia and Infiniti to lend nearly £3bn to over 300,000 people and businesses in the UK. We provide a range of competitive finance options and solutions for both Retail & Business Customers. The UK division is currently based in Watford, Hertfordshire relocating to Maple Cross End July, beginning August 2017.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Involvement in Head-Office Projects Group on Core Solutions

- Improving the Information Systems of the Company

- Analysing business requirements, elaborating solutions, and designing technical specifications.

- Developing Systems (Web applications, Web services, and various interfaces)

- Providing Technical Support for Test Phases

- Providing Technical Support for Live systems

Essential Skills

- Skilled in Spring, AngularJS, MVC, Ionic, Drupal, Oauth2, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, PHP

- Experience of Customer Websites Development, with new approaches

- Experience of Web Services (XML and JSON) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

- Experience of Web Application servers architectures, security, protocols and technologies (Apache Web Server, Tomcat)

- Unit testing and deployment (Cucumber, Selenium, Jenkins)

- Ability to suggest UX/UI designs and improvements (Adobe creative cloud useful)

- Maintenance of large scale projects (working on both bug fixing and change requests)

- Experience of the full development lifecycle and Agile methodologies

- T-SQL (Sybase ASE) can be a benefit
