The team
Republic is a fast growing insight-led communications consultancy. We are a sister agency to freuds and other companies in the Brewery Group. We deliver insights that fuel communications strategies capable of affecting change; and use them to build narratives that influence, amplify, and engage.
Our team is made up of socio/political/consumer research experts who are use both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to elicit the most relevant and valuable insights from key audiences globally. We specialise in Opinion Formers: those who are instrumental in shaping and influencing the landscape. We place our emphasis on analysis and storytelling, by interrogating findings and joining the dots between cultural context and commercial imperatives. We produce thoughtful, actionable reports that tell our clients where their reputations currently stand, and how to move them forward.
The role
We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to work across both quantitative and qualitative projects that work into strategic communications and reputation management for clients.
We are looking for someone with entrepreneurial spirit & bags of initiative who is keen to bring their research experience to a new & different environment
Keen to use research in new and imaginative ways in order to meet our clients varied needs
Helps to improve the way research informs creative ideas & the way we represent this insight to our clients
Responsibilities:
Manage research and insight projects (project management, supplier management, timings, costings)
Conduct qualitative research; focus groups and depth interviews
Conduct quantitative research; online surveys
Lead on first draft of research materials (e.g., discussion guides, quantitative questionnaires) covering key questions and research and business objectives
Analysis of findings - identifying insights, structuring findings into a narrative
Preparation of results - PowerPoint charts, word reports
Desk research for background information on projects
Keeping abreast of new insight techniques and client portfolio news
Demonstrate up to date knowledge of current research techniques
Skills & Competencies:
Previous experience working in a research company
Experience managing qualitative and quantitative research projects
Experience of conducting and analysing qualitative and quantitative research, including online surveys and panels, for consumer and corporate clients
Experience of managing suppliers
Ideally have experience of both opinion former and consumer research
Ability to distil key findings in concise, precise written summary notes
Experience of working on high-profile, market-leading brands
Used to working in a client-facing environment
You aspire to using research to help develop communications strategy
Self-motivated
Has conducted focus groups and depth interviews
Has conducted quantitative surveys
Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Project management experience
