To keep the country safe from threats, we need your skills.

Could you help provide essential tools and systems for Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP)? Our officers rely on a range of ICT to work seamlessly together and protect the UK. We now need a skilled ICT Architecture Demand Officer to join our dedicated team. It's a chance to work on projects of national importance and help keep the nation safe.

As part of our Architecture & Design team, you will work on the implementation of tactical, short-term demand requests. You will focus mainly on moves and changes in physical infrastructure, scoping and planning small-scale projects for the team or contractors. It will be down to you to get quotes and handle procurement to deliver such CT projects. Whatever the task, you will see that the scope and deliverables meet broader Met strategies.

An experienced IT professional, you'll have proven technical expertise. You can install hardware, resolve IT issues and support customers. You also have the project management skills to gather requirements, define technical scope and plan delivery. What's more, you have good knowledge of policing or Counter Terrorism. Naturally collaborative, you can work with people at all levels and express yourself well. Bring these skills to the Met and we'll help you develop them through on-the-job training.

Please note that this role is London-based but involves some UK travel.

Specialist Operations is committed to creating an inclusive working environment. We welcome and encourage applications from candidates who are seeking flexible working arrangements, and including part time working or job share. In the first instance, please contact the vacancy holder to discuss how such arrangements could be accommodated.
