It is vitally important that as a Group Informatics service we respond quickly and flexibly, ensuring that our services are fit for purpose, whilst evolving our capability and tools to deliver an ambitious transformation change programme for the future. We're seeking an inspiring and engaging individual to join a new team within our IT Operations function. As the IT Security and Compliance Manager you'll be responsible for setting and adapting complex long term security strategies ensuring there is a continual approach to security improvement across the Trust. An expert in information security you'll bring a wealth of specialised knowledge and experience and lead on initiating processes within IT Services and to client organisations on cyber security. What's more, working with the IT Operations Manager and Governance colleagues, you'll be responsible for defining and enforcing IT security standards that are applied throughout our IT Services infrastructure.

You'll be an outgoing team player with drive and enthusiasm, someone who understands the value of providing outstanding customer service and is able to effectively balance the need for improved cyber security with the operational needs of a very large, busy Trust. With excellent organisation skills, you'll be composed working under pressure with the ability to prioritise and work to tight and often changing deadlines efficiently. A strong analytical thinker, you'll be able to interpret information, pre-empt and evaluate issues and recommend a course of action. Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills will be imperative to your success.
