Make sure our Forensics unit has the technology to support the Met now and in the future. Join the team as a DCC Technology Lead.

As a senior manager within the Digital, Cyber and Communications (DCC) command, you'll see that the unit has the tech to support policing every day. It's a chance to agree and deliver new technology capability, working with Digital Policing and Transformation, while leading a team to support the unit's existing ICT.

A member of the DCC senior leadership team, you'll shape the unit's future and help it perform at its best. Together, you'll drive technology requirements, working closely with partners such as Digital Policing and the Transformation Directorate to ensure that technology supports the Met's Digital Strategy.

We're looking for results in three key areas:

Delivery of Level 1 Technology services

You'll see that Level 1 digital forensic technology tools (self-service) are fit for purpose and validated.  Working with frontline officers, you'll ensure that the systems implemented can be used to their full capability by investigators.

Building a new team

Through skilled leadership, you'll manage the growth of a new team to support the rollout of new Digital Forensic technology tools (self-service and within labs).

Forensics technology change

You'll work with DCC SLT to prioritise and deliver technology projects and infrastructure investment.
