We are pleased to announce that Marco Amitrano ACA MCMI ChMC has been selected to become Alliance Senior Partner for the UK and Middle East from 1 July 2024. Marco is currently Managing Partner and Head of Clients and Markets. He has been a partner at the firm since 2005, on the Management Board since 2016, and previously held the roles of Head of Consulting for EMEA and Global Head of Risk Assurance Services. In his current role, Marco has spearheaded how the firm helps clients get the best out of technology, working closely with PwC leaders worldwide. He has also been a vocal champion of diversity, equality and inclusion, including sponsoring the neurodiversity network. He will succeed Kevin Ellis when he retires at the end of June, having held the Senior Partner role for eight years. Marco was elected by our firm's UK and Middle East partners.

We asked Sarah, a Senior Manager in Accounting Services based in Belfast, what she likes about working in the Tax Compliance team: “Our team spans across five different regions in the UK and we have three offshore teams.
