Job Description

Working as part of a team to develop our Java applications and APIs. You will be a problem solver who can help with bug-fixing and will mentor junior members of the team.

Required

We are looking for a strong OO developer – Java would be preferred but cross training can be provided for someone with 4+ years of commercial development experience with excellent initiative and leadership qualities. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and be eager to learn, enthusiastic and self-motivated. Ideally you will have a degree (or equivalent) in a subject based around science, engineering, mathematics, or computer science.

Other skills and technologies that could be useful include:

• AWS
• Tomcat
• Linux
• Gradle/Maven
• NoSQL / SQL data stores
• Source code control system

But most importantly you will keep yourself up to date with current skills and technologies.

Package

• Salary: Competitive at £35 - 45k annually depending on experience, company pension, personal performance and profit related bonus paid quarterly, income protection, life assurance.
• Location: Remote and hybrid working offered for the right person, regular on site visits will be required.
