We are looking for a SAP MM Senior Analyst who will be a member of the Sales and Logistics team within the SAP CoE. You will be responsible for a range of activities including process mapping, designing, configuration, requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, end user training, documentation, stakeholder management, on-going maintenance and enhancements for the Logistics business processes.
You will be working closely with other application teams on both large and smaller sub projects, to provide a dynamic and flexible approach while promoting and adhering to good practice such as the ITIL process. You would be working closely with a wide user community across multiple sites.

You will report into SAP Sales & Logistic Manager

Core responsibilities:

  • Propose and specify both configuration and ABAP solutions to proposed business change needs
  • Understanding of configuration dependencies and integration points between separate functional modules of SAP (Logistics/SD/MM/
  • Participate/Lead workshops to design/agree new SAP solutions.
  • Design SAP configuration, action, test and implement within a Project management framework
  • Working with external and internal development teams/suppliers to deliver ABAP solutions
  • Ensure the availability and performance of SAP to agreed SLAs
  • Be required to investigate business issues within SAP, acting as advisor and super user
  • Focus on continuous improvement of processes and end user experience.
  • Support the delivery of training to SAP users across all UK sites.
  • Implementation of interfaces inbound and outbound to SAP.
  • Master data config e.g. Material Types, BOMS, Plants, Account Assignment Categories.
  • Create/update application documentation and provide expert knowledge sharing within the SAP CoE team.
  • Proactive management of applications to improve monitoring and performance whilst reducing exceptions, faults and failures.
  • Update application documentation and provide expert knowledge sharing within the development team.
  • Provide SAP regression testing for other applications interfacing with SAP.
  • Contribute to the delivery of business and team KPIs.
  • Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research
  • Participate in new functionality/enhancement assessments and make recommendations.
  • Support business implementations, patching and upgrades by sharing best practice, support, testing and configuration skills

Experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong understanding of the MM Logistics processes.
  • Extensive use of ERP systems experience, specifically SAP MM, Inventory Management, Material Planning, SD and Reporting with relevant experience of SAP FICO.
  • Knowledge of key finance functions is desirable as well as knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, P&L, Balance Sheet and ability to perform reconciliations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Relevant experience within Logistics

Salary:up to £64k dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
