IT & Infrastructure Manager

The quick version is:

• We make epic pizza ovens that cook awesome pizza in 60 seconds and start from only £249.
• We’re growing really, really fast and have no plans to slow down. In fact, we’re the fastest growing company in Scotland according to The Sunday Times Fast Track!
• We’ve built a pretty cool office inside a warehouse in Broxburn. There’s a train station nearby or a car park if you prefer. We have 2 staff kitchens and a Nintendo. And a beer kit. And a table tennis table. And corn hole. And Marv the deer. And possibly a new pet cat since lockdown started….

You will:

• Be able to work and learn quickly in a fast-paced, fun, unique and dynamic environment.

• Be tasked with the management, patching, building and security of all company assets.
• Work closely with our CEO, COO and HR department to build a secure and slick IT function, supporting our growth.
• Work alongside all teams within Ooni providing technical support and working to solve any internal IT problems.
• Own the IT function and create the building blocks to correctly manage IT risk.
• Take ownership of ‘in use’ devices, working to enrol them onto a management platform where you can track security and compliance.
• Receive a brand-New MacBook Pro, Magic Mouse & Keyboard when you join the business, so you are ready to hit the ground running!

Must-haves:

• At least 3 years industry experience
• Experience managing or deploying a Mobile Device Management platform for Mac and PC laptops.
• Patch management for Windows and Macintosh.
• Application approval lists on desktops.
• Device hardening (Security, MFA) (Mac & Windows).
• A good understanding of Anti-Virus Management.
• Managing hardware for leavers and joiners including break/fix support.
• Pitch/meeting room support.
• Management of user access rights across the business.
• Technical Support Management of upwards of 100 devices with plans for expansion.
• Some experience with the management of QNAP.
• A strong understanding of secure file transfer on a large scale.
• Awareness around remote editing of media.
• Cloud Infrastructure (backups, redundancy, security).
  

The right candidate should have awareness of risk management & policy creation (ISO27001), incident handling procedures and industry regulations, such as GDPR.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in desktop infrastructure management.
• Great English reading and writing skills.
• ACSP.
