We are helping to change Britain’s nuclear legacy into an environmental one. As one of the largest reactor decommissioning programmes in Europe, we are seeking to build a special team of world-leading professionals. A team that can help accomplish our mission safely, securely and cost-effectively. It’s a unique opportunity for talented individuals who want to help the country turn a corner.

As Head of Project Management and Construction Improvement, you will be the primary functional lead for all Project and Construction Managers and Site Engineers across Magnox. You will develop, own and implement Project Management standards and provide a resource management capability for Programme Managers, to support the delivery of the Magnox programme portfolio. You will lead on the development and implementation of continuous improvement activities across the project lifecycle, including setting training and performance standards.

In this diverse and challenging position, you will spearhead efforts to drive cultural change across the Magnox organisation, shifting approach from operational focus to a project management ethos, embedding ownership of cost and schedule pressures.

To be successful in this role you must have gained significant experience of managing and successfully delivering complex projects and programmes across multisite operations, gained within a relevant industry. You will possess the ability to lead, mentor and influence team behaviours, focusing on improving standards and processes to drive consistency across the Magnox organisation in collaboration with the rest of the NDA estate. You will bring a track record of leading change across a dispersed workforce.
