An integral part of our systems' success

During the Grand National we dealt with more transactions online in one minute than most retailers do on Black Friday. So you can imagine what the work environment is like here: extremely fast paced and things change all the time. So we need someone to keep pace with us. We're looking for a Network Security Analyst to help us deliver new projects whilst maintaining the high availability and integrity of our IT infrastructure. This includes producing and maintaining the consistent and reliable performance of our infrastructure to deliver our platforms and service to our business and partners. As part of this, there'll also be monitoring and event management.

Using your advanced analytical, problem solving and influencing skills, you'll propose improvements to the infrastructure and make the approved changes. Your excellent working knowledge of network environments utilising Cisco routers, switches and firewalls will help you provide expert, fault resolution service to revenue-generating local and wide area networks. So you'll certainly be kept busy.

With a background in large scale operation, you'll be CCNA certified with strong experience in the routing and switching or security track. Good operational knowledge of Network/Security concepts is essential as is experience in working on a Cisco virtualised (e.g. multi-tenant, multi-VRF) network and administration of Check Point firewalls. And to help us automate network tasks, any Python skills would be a real help.
