Salary: EUR50,000 - EUR60,000 per year (Negotiable)

IT MANAGER

Our client a global organization with operations in numerous countries worldwide are looking for a IT Manager to join their team based in Kilkenny

IT Manager Responsibilities:

* IT Manager to be responsible for IT service management, providing Super User support to BU Key Users, delivery of small change and manage the BU IT Support resource

* Project Management of specific IT & System Implementation projects from inception to implementation

* Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures

* Lead the management of IT Compliance Activities - including the implementation of MAPs from Group IA / Security Reviews

* Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures

* Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards

* Proactively identify and drive business benefits achievable through exploitation of ongoing advancements in Information Technology systems and processes

* Develop relationships with Business Unit management/Key Users to drive the effectiveness of system solutions

* Define, agree and deliver IT Key Performance Indicators

* Service Management - Manage Day to Day outsourced IT services

* Management of agreed SLA's with 3rd party IT providers

* Agree SLA's for IT services where not currently in place

* Source & analyse regular reporting from all IT service providers on incidents & their resolution

* Resolution of issues arising from service incidents analysis

* Be the escalation point for issues not captured within existing SLA's

* Provide support for functional/business IT related issues, that are not outsourced, as they arise in the business

* Record all IT related issues on IT incidents/issues log

* Prioritise and resolve incidents which cannot be addressed by Key Users

* Perform root cause analysis on frequently occurring / significant incidents determining the changes required to address them and using appropriate change mechanisms where applicable

* Lead out regular meetings with key service providers to monitor/review service provision

* Manage small IT related change (systems, processes etc.)

* Initiate change requests for small change across the business specifying the change required

* Manage the delivery of the change by stakeholders

* Co-ordinate bi-weekly status update calls

* Implement the change in conjunction with business owner - Key Users responsible for testing

* Provide monthly analysis report on all incidents / issues & progress on small change

* Support the team in developing a proactive business partnering approach to issue resolution and systems and process development

IT Manager Key Requirements:

* Third level IT or Business Qualification

* Project Management Qualification would be a distinct advantage

* Proven working experience (at least 5 years) as an IT manager or relevant experience

* Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems with a good head for business

* Proven track record of successful projects delivery essential

* Ability to craft and maintain project plans, develop proposals, analyse results and document findings

* Skilled at using systems including SAP, CORE POS or Millwheel experience would be a distinct advantage

* Ability to gather business requirements and produce functional specifications

* High level oral and written communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills

* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

* Understanding of complex information and requirements

* Good prioritisation skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans

* Excellent communications skills - written and verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.

* Confidence in decision-making

* A good team-playing mentality

* Good leadership skills

* An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints
