Role: Security Analyst (Perm)

Location: Bristol

Salary: £35,000 - £49,500 per annum (Depends on the level of experience)

A world leading insurance company is seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join their team in Bristol. Working within an established team, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a well-established and successful organisation.

Job Description:

A successful candidate will be responsible for providing highly technical specialist advice and expertise on security, working closely with engineers, architects and designers while delivering security solutions and manage security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide technical advice and expertise and act as the single point of contact for all Information Security Policy queries for the region

* Support the regional Information Security Head in conducting reviews of regions' current security posture and compliance

* Manage security incidents to ensure timely mitigation and escalate to appropriate incident resolver groups

* Ensure correct execution of security incident management processes

* Identify any incident that requires increased focus

* Report on the incident

Key Requirements:

* Educated to a Degree level (preferably in Information Security or Computer Science)

* Industry recognised certification ( CISSP, CISM, ISO or equivalent)

* Experience in information security

* Proven experience in remediation vulnerabilities
