Network & Security Consultant - CCSE - Checkpoint Focussed - BedfordMy client, a leading support provider to large Technology Conglomerates and Cloud and Data Centre Services, are looking for Network and Security Consultants who hold a CCSE and 5 years hands on experience working in a Checkpoint.Salary - 55-60k + 6k annual bonus + car allowanceEssential Skills

'€¢Cisco certifications'€¢Checkpoint CCSE certified'€¢Routing technologies (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF) including VRF'€¢Switching technologies (VPC, Spanning Tree, Cisco Nexus 7K, 5K and 2K. Catalyst 6500 & 4500 series Switches'€¢Proven track record of supporting WAN/LAN based network services'€¢Experience of network security & firewalls (CISCO & Checkpoint products)'€¢Extensive knowledge & use of Microsoft applications (inc. VISIO)'€¢Experience of using network management & diagnostic tools'€¢Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and be able to troubleshoot connectivity issues using Wireshark/Tcpdump.

Any skills in F5 would also be good especially iRules.General Responsibilities

'€¢Own and manage Network & Security 2nd and 3rd level technical support issues through to successful completion.'€¢Provide assistance and support to customers and client personnel as part of the services covered by managed services contracts.'€¢Provide assistance to internal and external personnel in the use Network & Security LAN & WAN solutions throughout the organisation as directed by the Technical Services Manager.'€¢Provide assistance to internal sales staff in pre and post sales activities as it relates to the provision of Network & Security based services.'€¢To undertake training as discussed and agreed in order to ensure up to date knowledge for Cisco and Checkpoint Support is maintained.
