Automotive Project Engineer

Staffordshire, commutable from Burton upon Trent, Derby, Uttoxeter, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Lichfield

£40 - 48K + Pension + Life Cover + Benefits

Are you from an automotive manufacturing background looking for a senior level Project Engineering role for a key player in a world class manufacturing environment?

This position will be responsible for application development for interior products, namely in Seat Climate Systems, and you will be the link between the internal engineering team and the OEM customers.

The Role:

1. The integration of the seat climate product into the customer environment.

2. Supervising the creation of Customer / System drawings and CAD data exchange with customers.

3. Discussing and describing customer strategies for future developments.

4. Being the Engineering Lead at customer meetings

The Person:

1. Academic/working background in Automotive Engineering, ideally Electrical/Electronic

2. Working experience of working within the Automotive Industry

3. Knowledge of automotive design, ideally including basic Catia
