Design Manager - Tier 1 Main Contractor - Manchester

A leading contractor based in Manchester has a rare opportunity to join their team on their flagship projects based in Manchester city centre. This opportunity has materialised through organic growth and their focus on developing work in the North West. This will provide you with long-term work, job security, and the opportunity to work on a leading, high value project. As well as this they will actively promote your personal development through the Design Management function.

The client have a great reputation of rewarding and empowering their staff, they are ahead of the industry in regards to staff retention.

They have recently won a High Rise Commercial project in Manchester which you will be based on.

Essential requirements:

* Proven track record working as a Design Coordinator / Design Manager for a well-known main contractor

* Must have design managed schemes c£30m

* Experience on High Rise Commercial or Residential schemes is essential

* Excellent technical knowledge, leadership and management skills are essential

* Must be commercially aware

* Educated to a high standard (Degree or equivalent)

* UK Driving licence essential

Salary

£60,000 - £70,000 dependent upon experience +excellent benefits package
