Role: Information Security Analyst

Duration: 9 months

Location: Dublin

Daily Rate: DOE

A leading international client in Dublin is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join their team for a 9 month day rate contract with good chance of extension. This position is a mix of project and Business As Usual (BAU) work.

Some of the duties include

* Working with Project Teams to scope pen tests and be the POC for identifying and mitigating risks.

* Schedule and manage External Vulnerability tests, and interpret any identified risks

* Manage firewalls, conduct change requests to ensure that they comply with IT Security Policies & Standards.

* Link up with the Security Architect to implement SIEM

* Be an escalation point from the SOC for IDS issues

Skills & Experience

* CISSP, CISMP or recognised equivalent.

* Good technical knowledge across a variety of platforms

* Good technical knowledge of network protocols and related technologies

* Experience across a number of relevant IT disciplines

* Strong knowledge of IT Security best practice

* 3rd Level qualification in IT or equivalent experience is preferred

* Some knowledge of information security and risk control frameworks such as COBiT, ISO 27001, ISO 27002

The client requires a contractor who can instant value with very little hand-holding and who has excellent communication skills. There is a high chance of extension for this contract.
