Senior PHP Developer: Birmingham £30k-£55k+

The company:

A market leading company based in Birmingham is now looking for a PHP developer to join an established team. The company is working on a range of projects which have now gained interest from a number of companies in the UK. The new product is among the first of its kind and is receiving a lot of attention.

The role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the back-end services. The candidate will also be responsible for all server side logic as well as working as part of a wider team to support development activities. Candidates will be working with a range of new languages and work as part of a wider team.

Key skills & experience:

*Working with the full LAMP Stack (Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP)

*An understanding of PHP Web Frameworks which could include: Laravel, Zend or CakePHP

*An understanding of 3rd party API's (Google, Facebook or Ebay)

*Exposure to MVC

*Basic understanding of front end languages including: JavaScript, HTML or CSS.
