This is an exciting opportunity to join a B2B marketing agency specialising in inbound marketing for technology companies. Their work all revolves around the way business people buy today.

They are seeking a skilled front-end developer to join their growing team. Working together with strategists, designers and content creators, the front-end developer takes full responsibility for the development requirements of a number of existing and new customers. This often includes the creation, maintenance and evolution of full websites, as well as the creation of other online assets such as landing pages, blogs, interactive tools, etc.

They work almost exclusively on the HubSpot content management platform and their mission is to be the number one choice for website development on HubSpot in the UK.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role must show:

- 3+ years' experience working in a web development role

- Previous experience of working closely with designers to realise solutions

- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and JavaScript

- Knowledge of Bootstrap

- Experience developing responsive websites for desktop, tablet and mobile devices

- Experience developing HTML emails and knowledge of the limitations of this medium

- Experience working with Jinja, Hubl or other templating engines

- Understanding of and interest in UX principles

- Working knowledge of Sketch, Zeplin and Photoshop

- Proven ability as a problem solver

- Effective time management and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

- Personal desire to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices

Desirable skills and experience:

- HubSpot COS development experience

- HubSpot Inbound Marketing and/or COS Design certifications

- Understanding of back-end technologies

- Agile project management

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

- Develop and implement front-end web code - writing clean, semantic code at all times

- Develop new websites for clients

- Maintain and improve existing websites

- Develop landing pages, emails and other reusable templates

- Work with designers to review and ensure the feasibility of website designs

- Contribute to the creation of internal libraries, reusable resources and processes

- Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance of client websites

- Take and pass the HubSpot Inbound Marketing, COS Designer and other relevant certifications

A salary of between £30K and 40K per annum, depending on experience.
