We're looking for an IT Operations Manager to join a security company in Salford, Manchester. If you have knowledge of HP server/storage hardware and an ITIL v.3 Foundation certificate, then you may be the Operations Manager that we've been looking for.

What will you be doing?

As IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing 3rd line support for all monitoring services. You will have the ability to provide team leadership and operational management, as well as drive a culture of continually delivering and improving to a high standard. In addition to this, you will comply with or take ownership of all appropriate ITIL service management processes required to deliver a consistent, secure, good value and high quality service.

What skills should you have?

* Significant experience as a senior IT Systems Engineer

* Experience in a team leader/shift manager role

* Experience working with Windows, Citrix and VMware

* Good knowledge of HP server/storage hardware

* Knowledge and understanding of storage area networks both ISCSI & Fibre

* ITIL v.3 Foundation certificate

You will be required go through security clearance checks, and a DBS criminal record check
