Network and Security Engineer - £53,000 + benefits based in Swindon or Leeds with home working availability.

My client have partnered with a cloud network provider that is going to deliver a managed OpenStack Cloud Platform, as part of my clients network virtualisation transformation program. You will be actively involved in the end to end lifecycle of this project, from designing, building and eventually supporting the end project solution. After the initial project, which will last around 12 months, you will be consulting and reviewing with the external provider about how to improve and upgrade the platform.

The best matched Network and Security Engineer will ideally have the following skill set:

* Have shown previous work has met the business requirements on the first time of asking

* Extensive exposure to network and security technologies including virtualisation technologies

* Specific skill set within firewalls, Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switching

* A good understanding of ITIL and their application

* It is desirable to come from either a consultancy or telecommunications background
