Our client based in Manchester is looking for a talented PHP Developer to join a busy Product team. Working closely with the Product and Digital departments, your role will be to further develop the front-end websites and internal web based systems. They are looking for someone who will be able to hit the ground running and possess skills in the following areas

The successful candidate is expected to have 4-5 years of experience as a Developer in the relevant areas (see below) and is eager to learn

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

* PHP5/7, Ideally with a working knowledge of OO and MVC Frameworks

* Practical knowledge of some MVC, ideally Laravel framework

* MySQL

* CSS / Bootstrap / Less

* JavaScript / jQuery / AMP

* Excellent levels of communication, both written and verbal

* XML / JSON

* Innate interest in new technologies and willingness to learn

* Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage a busy work load

* Strong sense of ownership with a pro-active and can do attitude
