Desktop Application Developer, C# WPF, Manchester, £350/£400 per day, 6 months gaming, multiple roles, My client a world leader in the Gaming industry are currently on the lookout to expand their team of contract developers at their new site in Manchester.

They are looking for multiple C# WPF developers to work on a number of different projects and teams.

The project will be entirely desktop based and experience with desktop technologies such as C#, WPF, Winforms MVVM, will be more advantageous than web technologies but they would not rule out anybody from a web background.

The projects will change depending on the team they are in but will involve maintaining and updating existing code into C# WPF. Technology wise, the following would be considered advantageous:

* Experience working with WPF on ideally multiple projects

* Exposure to other desktop development tools, including Silverlight and Winforms.

* Desktop development experience. Working on large scale projects in any industry.

This contract is for at least six months and due to the large scale nature of the projects, there is definite room for extension for any developer who adds value to the project, either on the same team or a different one working on the same technology but a different project.

They are looking to pay between £350 and £400 per day, although this is very much dependent on the relevant experience they can bring to the table. The projects are due to come live in the next 4-6 weeks.

However, due to the nature of the projects and sheer number of developers they are looking to bring on, they want to see CV's ASAP to build a shortlist, with the intention of interviewing them in the following weeks for a June start.
