An exciting opportunity for a MVC Developer to come work on an online platform for a company based in Oxford Circus, London has arisen. The application serves users and subscribers across the world and is being continuously developed. The platform is developed as an ASP.NET MVC application in C# (currently on .NET 4.5.2). They use Entity Framework extensively for data access.
They use Git, hosted on GitHub, for source control and issue logging, and Slack for team communication. Typically, they release site updates weekly. For many features, the time from prioritisation to release of tested code to production will be a matter of a few weeks (and sometimes days).
They constantly looking to deliver greater user value more quickly, by using the best of emerging new technologies - as an example they are looking at using new frameworks like Angularjs.
As a MVC Developer joining the business you'll be will working with the lead developer and CTO designing and developing new features.
This is a small, friendly team you'll be joining and they will support your development through discussion, code review, pair programming and regular mentoring. They operate an annual appraisal and pay review scheme.
They are looking for a MVC Developer with 4+ years of web application development, ideally having used technologies like ASP.NET MVC4/5, C# Azure, Entity Framework, AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, SSRS, Git, Web API.
The salary for the post is £55,000 to £65,000 + benefits.
