Information Security Analyst - ISO27001/PCI-DSS

3 month contract opportunity with Financial Organisation located in Oxfordshire. You will work closely with the Information Security Manager, the wider business, the Change team, IT Services and suppliers, to ensure security risks are understood, appropriate controls and policies are deployed, and agreed levels of security are delivered across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills:

* An in depth understanding of the core areas of information security (ISO27001/2, for example) and a large amount of experience or working in line with ISO/PCI Frameworks.

* Clear and authoritative communication skills

* Sound leadership

* Exercise professional judgement and responsibility for decision-making

* Strong technical skills

* Long-term and strategic thinking

* Planning and organisation

* Flexibility and adaptability

Requirements:

* Proven experience of working as an Information or IT Security resource in a mid-size organisation.

* Very good understanding of technical architecture and security aspects of infrastructure technology.

* Experience of implementing technical security standards and security policies

* Practical approach to improving the quality of, and attention paid to, security in a fast changing organisation.

* Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory compliance and security frameworks such as ISO 27001.

* Strong people skills with experience of working with external customers and suppliers.

* Experience of working in a small team.

* Likely to have 5+ years experience relevant to their specialist area.

Qualifications

Security certification such as CISSP, CompTIA or qualifications from the Sans Institute are desirable.
