Spring Technology are currently looking for an IT Security Manager who's main focus will be to drive and implement Security and Risk Management in the heart of Hampshire. With proven experience, the ideal candidate will hold CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and have knowledge of Access and Capacity Management as well as knowledge in VMware, OpenStack, Storage and Networking technologies.

The Role

The opportunity will be for an experienced Security Manager who will be a key member for the platform and operations leadership team, this candidate will need exposure from a broad security agenda. Driving the security team throughout compliance and continuous improvement, the perfect candidate will deliver various security aligned management activities ensuring all are up to ISO standards, that platforms are built, tested and delivered to best practice.

The Company

The organisation in question are an extremely established managed services provider within cloud technologies, focusing solely on the UK public sector. With radical growth over the past few years our client is looking to become the biggest and the best at providing cloud technology in the UK over the coming years and need a Security Manager in place to ensure the appropriate levels of security are in place across their infrastructure, software and processes.

Responsibilities and Requirements

*You will ensure a hands-on technically demonstrate and implement ISO compliance and best practice

*You will have hands on operational experience within a high intensity and complex environments

*Strong knowledge in Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, Availability and Capacity Management, Security Engineering, Communication and Network Security, Identity Management, Testing and Security Operations

*The perfect candidate will be CISSP certified, but not essential

*You will deliver business aligned Security Management activities across products, ensuring highest level of customer experience and service are maintained

*Strong ITIL / Service Management background
