IT Security Engineer - Republic of Ireland

A superb opportunity for an IT Security Engineer has arisen with our multinational client based in Ireland. We are looking for a Cyber Security professional to join their Global Cyber Response team which protects their digital systems and assets around the globe.

You will be working with global cross-functional teams to support cyber security event analysis, investigations, forensics, policy and compliance efforts.

Candidates should have either experience in Information Security or general IT experience and a demonstrable knowledge of current cyber exploit techniques and mitigations, including:

A solid understanding of various attack vectors and malware / exploit techniques, tactics and procedures

Knowledge and experience with scripting languages (Python, Powershell, Bash, etc...)

Will have a track record of flexibility and versatility to adapt to the ever-changing threat environment and business drivers that influence the projects and priorities of ISRM.

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally candidates will have:

Experience in information security, specifically with malware analysis

Experience analysing malware using static/dynamic techniques.

Experience in one or more of: disk / network / memory forensic tools, log analysis, and developing custom scripts/rules/functionality

Experience in handling targeted attacks
