Web Developer, Digital Marketing Agency - Southampton

£30,000- £35,000 + lots of benefits & good times

We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic web developers to work with one of the leading digital marketing agencies in the South.

The company boast a great business culture, buoyant team and access to an awesome portfolio of clients. You will be working on ecommerce website for well-known retailers, banners, micro-sites and varied digital content for various 3rd party companies.

The primary focus is maintaining and building websites based on the Umbraco CMS. That means almost exclusively .Net (mostly MVC), although crossover knowledge of frontend (in particular JavaScript development including AngularJS) would be highly beneficial. You will need to be a well-rounded developer, ideally from an agency background, certainly used to working n external customer projects with a digital theme.

The agency is busy and vibrant and as such you will work on multiple projects simultaneously alongside a list of maintenance and uptake tasks.

Key Skills & Experience

* Umbraco

* Net (Webforms and MVC)

* REST services (ie WebAPI)

* n-Tier architecture

* HTML/CSS/JavaScript (crossover knowledge only, this is a backend role)

* Source code management (SCM); Mercurial (hg), git or TFS

* Working in an agile/lean team (eg Scrum)

* Agency/multiple concurrent projects

Nice to haves:

* ORMs (eg Entity Framework, nHibernate, ServiceStack, PetaPoco)

* AngularJS

* Test Driven Development (TDD)

* Continuous Integration

* Continuous Deployment
