Network Security Engineer

£50,000-£60,000 plus generous benefits

A nationwide Educational firm are looking for a highly experienced Network Security Engineer to join their team during a number of Network based projects.

Responsibilities:

>Implement and install a number of firewalls leading through to support and maintenance.

>Act as the escalation point for firewall technologies and other security protocols.

>Work closely with the Network Service teams to understand requirements on both the Network and Security sides.

>Be a senior member within the Network Security team leading by example and aiding within highly technical environments.

Skills:

>Brilliant exposure to Firewall technologies, mainly Cisco ASA.

>Great knowledge of IPS,IDS and ADC.

>Strong networking background with good knowledge of Routing and Switching, WAN/LAN and TCP/IP.

>Previous experience with Iron Port Web Proxy is desirable.

>It is also highly desirable to have had previous experience within an Enterprise scale environment.
