We're looking for an Information Security Specialist to join a flourishing IT team within an award winning financial company based in Chatham. If you have the ability to act as information security SME on projects covering governance, risk, compliance and technical areas, then you could the Information Security Specialist that we've been looking for.
What will you be doing?
As an Information Security Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with applicable legislation, regulations, codes of practice or technical guidance in relation to security. You will understand the importance of data security management, including external drivers and standards such as ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS. You will be responsible for overseeing information security, policy, standards, procedures and guidelines and risk management. If you have 5 years' experience working in an IT environment, then this could be a great opportunity for you!
What skills/experience should you have?
* LAN and WAN networking (including using routers, switches and infrastructure products)
* Network security technologies (Firewalls, IDS, Proxies)
* TCP / IP
* Linux / Unix & Windows Desktop and server operating systems
* DPA, ISO27001 and PCI-DSS
