Research Analyst

The Company:

The client is an independent, non-departmental public body that work closely with the government.

The Role:

In this role you will be a key member of the programme team completing statistical and social research, supporting the Research and Statistics Manager. You will contribute to the design, production, communication and development of the programme's official research statistics.

Key Responsibilities:

*Providing statistics and consumer-focused research

*Supporting evidence-based decision-making by producing strategic insight, market analysis and impact evaluations

*Identifying and analysing risks emerging, market and consumers that may impact on the achievement of their licensing objectives

*Facilitating information management and knowledge sharing within the organisation.

Key Skills Required:

*Comprehensive understanding of statistics and research principles and practices.

*Ability to conduct statistical analysis using SPSS including writing syntaxes to robustly conduct analysis and manipulate datasets

*Ability to develop specifications for ad-hoc and on-going research projects

*Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop and review questionnaires and topic guides

*Ability to manage small research projects (
