Job Title - Systems Administrator (Directory Services)

Location - Manchester, Greater Manchester

Salary - £30,000 - £38,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Systems Administrator to join my client based in Central Manchester.

You will join a Directory Services team responsible for the delivery of directory, identity and access management services across the organisation.

The Role

The role with focus on maintenance and development of the organisations web authentication services and will require good Linux system administrator skills, as well as an understanding of authentication and LDAP.

As part of your responsibilities you will be supporting the key single sign on and federated authentication products, resolving tickets and working alongside senior members of the team to improve your technical ability. Training will be provided in the SSO and federated technology used by the organisation.

Essential Skills

The key skills required are: Linux system administration , as well as an understanding of authentication and LDAP.

Knowledge and experience in any of the following would be desirable: previous

development experience with LDAP/authentication services, Microsoft SQL, jRuby, Rails,

CSS, Jira, Git, Subversion.
