IT Security Consultant with hands-on experience of Splunk required for a 1 month assignment in Berkshire.

Essential experience:

Understanding of IT security data

Comfortable using both Windows and Linux OS

Understanding of events to 3rd party systems (eg forwarding from Splunk to CISCO ATA)

Experience with Regular Expressions (filtering events in Splunk)

Problem solving skills

At least 6-12 months hands-on experience of Splunk and specifically their Enterprise Security

Desirable experience:

SIEM / SOC background knowledge of events of interest for threat management

The role profile: To provide resource on demand for the designing and implementing architectural security design using Splunk Security Management Systems

Immediate start

Daily rate: £500 - £550
