Lead Systems Architect - SC / DV Cleared
Required to provide technical guidance, technical strategy and technical solutions to a large MOD programme and able to work at all levels.
Responsibilities:
-Define and drive real-time system level architectures and technology requirements
- Translate architectures into software, hardware and firmware while considering mechanical and other system components
-Develop system architecture documentation and specifications
-Perform cost-benefit analyses
Skills required:
-Technical expertise of IP network systems at enterprise level and tactical level, mobile wireless communications, software defined radios (multiple waveforms), ECM systems, avionics communications, battlefield radio and associated interfacing standards.
-Technical expertise and experience with open systems architectures
-Knowledge of the existing UK BOWMAN Battlefield Communications System
-demonstrable understanding of military communications networks
