The Role

My Client has an urgent requirement for a Software Development Technical Lead on a contractual basis, working on a critical project that requires rewriting their desktop applications.

*** PLEASE NOTE ***

This is not a web application/ full stack based contract opportunity, therefore my Client will not consider applications other than those with a desktop development background.

Essential Skills and Experience

* Extensive commercial experience in Microsoft .NET, WCF, WPF, WinForms and MVC.

* Extensive commercial RDBMS experience (preferred SQL server 2005 or later).

* Experience of working with distributed or concurrent, multi-tiered applications.

* Experience as a senior/technical lead of software development projects in a hands-on capacity.

* Ability to adapt to a very diverse and reactive working environment.

* The ability to work with minimal requirements and manage multiple tasks.

* Excellent communicator on a technical level.

* Experience of agile practises.

* Self-Motivated and delivery focussed.

Desirable Skills

* AccuRev.

* Jira Issue Management.

* An exposure to No SQL technologies and also message orientated.

* Experience of working in a 24/7 environment.

* Message Orientated.

* Degree Qualified or an equivalent in Computer Science.
