Graduate Web Application Developer

This is a fantastic opportunity for a young and ambitious graduate looking to get on that first rung on the employment ladder with one of Europe's leading semiconductors.

As part of the tools and automation web application team, your role will be primarily focused on providing support for efficiently fetching, analysing and displaying validation data from both relational and NoSQL databases.

you will also be writing web applications for Intranet to support software, hardware and simulation teams

This position has the advantage of having a wide overview of several divisions within the company. You will liaise with driver developers, hardware engineers and the simulation team right through to the Product Management and Release Engineers, working with the latest technologies and infrastructure.

Working as a part of a team you will have some or all of the following responsibilities:

-Web Programming, especially PHP, Javascript, Bootstrap

-Server administration

-Excellent communications skill

-Doctrine ORM for PHP

-Python

-Experience of working with computer graphics

-Experience of creating and using REST/SOAP services

-Experience of high level operating systems - especially Android, Linux

-Experience of virtualisation technologies such as HyperV, Xen, QEMU

This is a small team working in a relaxed environment dedicated to ensuring quality code.

The varied nature of the work ensures that there is always something interesting to work on whilst the demanding workload is offset with flexibility and humour.
