Proteus Europe is searching for a VDI Services Delivery Manager to join a prestigious client located in Eindhoven, Netherlands until the end of the year.

Your New role :-

The Delivery Manager is a key-role in the organization of IT. He or she functions as the bridge between the demand of the business for excellent IT systems and top availability and on the other hand the execution of the IT activity as agreed upon contract and/or OLAs with IT Service Providers. It is a challenging IT position in one of the most technical developed companies in the world. IT operates in a high demanding, fast moving, dynamic and professional environment.

Job Mission

The Delivery Manager VDI services is;

- functionally managing the overall VDI competence with internal and external resources as well as the External Service Provider(s).

- assures that the service delivery towards the business partners is as agreed in the Customer SLA.

- Manage the solutioning and evolution of the VDI service.

Job Description:

Ensure and manage an end-to-end delivery of VDI services based on agreed customer SLAs, supplier contracts and OLAs. Manage and govern the External Service Providers in scope. Be the Relation Manager and the Service Performance Manager between a number of stakeholders like Business, IT Competence Centers, Service Providers, Finance, Procurement and others.

As Delivery Manager you

- End-2-end management of the Remote Workplace VDI Service, containing the different domains (Infra, Applications, Changes, Projects) and ESPs

- Responsible for the evolution of the services by initiating LCM and improvement projects / NSCs.

- Identify and act on changing business requirements including the change on the contract with the (I)(E) SP and according expansions to the environment.

- Manage and liaises the relationship with the internal customers to channel the demand towards the (I)(E)SP (Competence Center Managers, Information Officers, Business Process Owners and Key user organizations).

- Provide an escalation and arbitration level for service issues, problems and service integration issues for the VDI services in scope.

- Ensure deployment of IT policies, procedures and standards in line with corporate guidelines and procedures in order to provide consistent and compliant use of IT.

- Ensure deployment of Business and IT priorities.

- Quality review for solutions / development and implementation projects.

- Control and take corrective actions regarding IT costs and budget in order to manage the spending expenditure.

- Partners with Purchasing in negotiating on pricing and service descriptions of new and changed services.

- Deploy the governance model, processes, communication and reporting structures within the VDI Support organization.

- Functionally manage a team of Architects, Project Managers, Service Managers, Infra coordinators and Technical Application Managers.

Your Skills and experience :-

Essential Skills :-

Education

Academic level or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

- At least 5 years of experience as a delivery manager (or equivalent) on senior level and 10 years of experience in other business and IT roles with a strong focus on Workplace/VDI services

- Thorough understanding and practical experience with:

o ITIL Service Management processes

o Global Infrastructure projects

o VDI technology (Citrix/Windows/Cisco UCS/Software defined storage)
